My preferred develop environment is the Arduino IDE (currently 1.8.11).
Old Verstions Of Arduino Mac OS X CatalinaSo far I could solve all problems Ive encountered using forums and google For compiling and loading I use the Board Manager from Digistump: Before Mac OS X Catalina which forces all applications to run on 64-bit, everything worked perfectly. After upgrading the Mac, Ardunio IDE still works fine for non-Digistump boards. But when switching the IDE to the Board Digistump AVR Boards - Digistump Pro (Default 16MHz), Ill get the following error message during compile time: Detecting libraries used. Please forgive if somebody else already posted this problem in the forum before. Old Verstions Of Arduino How To Solve ThisDoes anybody know how to solve this issue Many thanks. Just use this one and reinstall the Digistump AVR package in the boards manager. One simply needs to trick the Digistump config to use what is included, instead of its own old, out of date, no longer supported snowflake of the AVR tools. ![]() Finally, from a shell prompt, you are gonna move the Digistump snowflake out of the way, and link in the current shipping version: cd LibraryArduino15packagesarduinotoolsavr-gcc mv 4.8.1-arduino5 orig.4.8.1 ln -s ApplicationsArduino.appContentsJavahardwaretoolsavr 4.8.1-arduino5 You could just delete the old stuff I suppose.
